This teak chest is composed above, on the sides and on the front, of a single board each. A guarantee of solidity, the corners are decorated with brass reinforcements and, each edge, with straps also in brass. The lid locks with a functional, original two-point lock with diamond-mounted entry. This cover, mounted on three hinges, is held open by a brass compass called “knee”. The interior offers a large storage space as well as a covered niche, on the left side, above a small shelf. This high quality chest, fitted with a bronze carrying handle on each side, rests on two side elements cut out of teak.
