Large aquarium in polychrome enameled Chinese porcelain. It is decorated with traditional Chinese scenes in cartouche on a background of friezes, flowers and scrolls in colors of charron blue, cornflower blue, champagne yellow and adrinople red. This magnificent aquarium has an interior decorated with four golden crucian carp, commonly called goldfish, swimming together among the algae. The edge is also decorated with flower garlands. This aquarium is presented on its quintipod mahogany base.
