Rare early work by Georges SCOTT, signed lower right dated 93, he is just 20 years old. The theme of dog fighting was rarely discussed at the end of the 19th century. Painter and illustrator, he worked for various periodicals, including Cocorico and L'Illustration where he published his first drawing, “The catastrophe of Anderlues”, on March 19, 1892 at the age of 19. He later performed covers for Know It All. This work is sold as is. I can point you to paper restorers in Paris. Paper mounted on cardboard. Watercolor, pencil and ink.
