The still-living avant-garde was executed around the 1920s and, due to its very similar style and composition, has been attributed to the hand of the modern German painter Dorothea Maetzel-Johannsen (Hamburg 1886-1930) . She was a co-founder of the Hamburg Secession. From 1919, she created her main expressionist works.
