Mask "Gägon" Dan; Ivory Coast Beautiful and old hardwood with brown/black patina, H: 30 cm, depth 20cm The Dan "Gagon" masks are located in the north of the Ivory Coast. Large beak-shaped nose, high forehead, almond-shaped eyes, "diomanded" scarifications border the edges of the mask pierced with multiple holes for attaching an ornament. Beautiful and old patina of use inside. Presumed period: beginning of the 20th century
