Mahogany and mahogany veneer console from the end of the Louis XVI period or beginning of the Directory.
Elegant in its shape and interesting in its dimensions, it is topped with vintage veined white marble, surrounded by an openwork gallery.
It has 4 tapered, fluted legs decorated with a mahogany ring in their upper part and ending with a golden shoe.
A shelf in the lower part is connected to the legs by connecting dice inlaid with diamonds, as in the upper corners of the console.
Brass rods highlight the molding of the drawer on the front, as well as the curved sides of the console.
A stain to note on the marble.
