Mbarava – Solomon Islands Considered the most sacred and respected object of this region, the Mbarava plaque is sculpted from a flat plate, cut from the fossilized shell of an imposing holy water clam. The base is made up of one or more rings, above which patterns make up an incredible lace bringing together small characters next to each other.
