** Early 19th century **
A very beautiful object in good condition. However, two small imperfections should be noted; namely the threaded end of the ivory ferrule connecting the suction tube to the stove broken flush (it is of course possible to re-drill and insert a new thread to remedy this), and a small chip at the any upper end of the cap (see last photo on this).

Additional information: Ivory specimen of Elephantidae spp (I / A) pre-agreement, prior to June 1, 1947 in accordance with CE Regulation 338/97 of 12/09/1996 art.2-Wmc. For an exit from the EU, a CITES re-export will be necessary, this being the responsibility of the future purchaser. The issuance of such a document is not automatic. The future purchaser will have to inquire about the conditions of re-export because some countries do not allow the introduction of ivory specimens of Elephantidae on their territory.
