"Box In Straw Marquetry Late 18th Century"
Straw marquetry box from the end of the 18th century to the beginning of the 19th century, decorated with a port town and a sailing boat. Inside the different compartments are decorated with tulips and the inside of the lid was later decorated with a pious image from the 18th century representing Saint Lucy, surrounded by an early 19th century braid. The box is complete and has some missing marquetry.
