a very large bust representing Mephisto based on the theme of Faust.
a very rare and very good quality bust where Mephisto appears to us in a costume decorated with fantastic animals, bats, owls, salamanders, moths, etc...
with a feather on his head.
His face is mischievous and very expressive as he smiles at us, showing his teeth under his thin mustache.
this bust rests on a large pedestal.
the slightly bronzes patina is very beautiful.
