V-IV th century BC.
Gilded bronze elements forming part of a Samnite warrior belt, one of the indigenous peoples of southern Italy. This type of belt is found in Apulia, Lucania, and on Campanian painting.
The most decorated part is made up of two hooks decorated with palmettes.
Provenance: old French collection, public auction in Paris (Drouot)
