Bordeaux painter of landscape and genre scenes, he loves rural life
. After studying at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Bordeaux, he exhibited in Paris, at the Salon des Artistes Indépendants, between 1906 and 1932.
He also participated in the Salon d'Automne from 1920 to 1931 and the Salon des Tuileries from 1924 to 1933. Soldier, then prisoner of war from 1914-1918, he made some works on the war, but he was especially seduced by the landscape of the southwest of France, settling in Marcillac
