Empire Period, Paris Porcelain Tripod Cup Decorated With A Fantasy Landscape, Rich Gilding And Handle In Motion flag

Object description :

"Empire Period, Paris Porcelain Tripod Cup Decorated With A Fantasy Landscape, Rich Gilding And Handle In Motion"
Very beautiful old Paris porcelain cup, it is decorated with a charming decoration of a fantasy landscape decorated with a character, a soldier I think who seems to be standing guard in front of a fortified gate.
* Early 19th Century *

The handle, shaped like a branch, takes the shape of a palmette at its upper attachment. The object rests on three feet representing clawed legs (note a small chip at the end of one of them). The gilding of the cup is in excellent condition both inside and outside (apart from the missing small chip mentioned above). As for its cup, it has gilding in less good condition, particularly around its edges, but this is still acceptable because it is less important than the photo might suggest.
