"Large Straw Marquetry Box"
Exceptional straw marquetry box decorated with a port view on the lid, various architectures on all sides, inside a superbly preserved colored marquetry of castles, foliage and volutes. The interior of the lid is fitted with a mirror, the box comprising numerous compartments with inlaid lids, lockers and drawers also inlaid, the interiors of the lockers covered with original red paper. In view of the fragility of the straw marquetry, we can consider that this box, despite small losses and blisters, remains in good original condition.
