Late 18th century Italy A lampas in two pieces, damask satin with wide cherry red and green-yellow stripes, typical of 18th century Italian production. Complete with their 53 cm wide edges, the wide stripes are loaded with a floral decoration structured in a river, silver cream twill background. Very tightly woven damask edging allowing sufficient resistance for reuse in historical decoration. Some period patches to one end, otherwise clean and unblemished.
