Winner of the Abd-El-Tif prize in 1951, he joined the second generation of painters of the Algiers school. A talented colorist, his work is close to that of his friend François DESNOYER. He then settled in Antibes, where he established himself as a major artist in the city. View of the port of Salis which is in Antibes at the foot of the Garoupe hill, and which was razed during the tidal wave of 1979. Oil on cardboard in perfect condition.
