Aubusson Tapestry, 18th Century Greenery. flag

Object description :

"Aubusson Tapestry, 18th Century Greenery."
Aubusson tapestry in wool and silk from the 18th century.

-The foreground is governed by two trees in full flower which occupy the entire height of the composition. Several birds animate the whole, like this bird of prey with outstretched wings, preying on a snake that it holds in its claws.

-The clearer background but no less without perspective, gives us a view of a set of exotic buildings perched on a cliff.

-Dimensions: height: 304cm, width: 236 cm

-Good state of conservation, tapestry not modified in its dimensions, old restorations should be noted, the lining has holes in the lower part.

-Original borders, lined, rope attachment system, ready to hang.
