The Boissettes factory
This town on the outskirts of Melun was first home to an earthenware factory in 1733. With the potential for marketing kaolin, it diversified into the production of hard porcelain from 1776. However, due to a lack of profitability, it ceased trading in 1781. These 5 years have left refined and rare objects for lovers of 18th century porcelain.
Condition report: superb condition, with firing cracks in the bottom.
