Painting on panel, "S. Giorgio" icon - Early 19th century Fascinating icon, oil on panel, depicting Saint George (written at the top). The paint in the lower part is missing, it had certainly been placed on the ground for a long time and some humidity had risen, fortunately it is a background area simply painted green. The frame, in the lower area, has also lost part of its gilding. The painting has a beautiful craquelure. Measurements: cm. 49.3 X 40.5. Period: first half of the 19th century.
