Cage clock in beveled glass and gilt bronze with lion's muzzles The enameled dial is set in a beveled glass cage with gilt bronze uprights, the hands are finely chiseled and the hours are inscribed in Roman numerals, the half hours in numerals Arabs. The dial bears a trace of the watchmaker's signature in Paris. An arabesque decoration in gilded bronze and a laurel garland frame it. Two lion's muzzles bearing a ring are attached to the sides; The cage is topped by a covered vase resting on four crowbars. Acanthus friezes and projecting base. The original gilding is superb; the pendulum ends with a radiant sun. The movement is in perfect working order, striking on the hours and half hours.
