"Period Empire Dining Table"
Sublime and rare extending dining table with central leg which ends with game heads in Cuban mahogany , attributed to the workshop of Jean-Joseph Chapuis (unstamped).This open table can accommodate up to four extensions bringing its total length to +/- 4.20 meters.
The original extensions are missing the central leg has some traces of wooden glass (nothing serious).
Empire period , a French work around 1800

Very good quality with a beautiful patina.
