Object description :

"French School Of The 19th Century Painter's Palette Oil On Mahogany Panel Young Peas Merchant"
It represents a young fish seller by the sea leaning against the side of her hinny (a sort of mule) which she uses to transport her fish. With an ingenuous look, she gives the impression of striking a pose, with one shoulder largely bare. In the background, a city perhaps reminiscent of Venice. Beautiful depth, magnificent colors as well as real finesse of execution characterize this delightful painting which will not fail to seduce you. A favorite for the originality of its support! Dimensions: 32 cm x 46 cm Very good condition. Traces of paint as well as a tiny trace of hanging on the back of the panel (see photo). Many other objects to discover in my stand at the antique fairs in which I participate. Follow my gallery to be informed of new developments and to know the dates of the next Shows...Any questions?
