A charming Etruscan or Hanap milk jug decorated with gilding around the rim and a garland of cornflowers.

From 1779 onwards, Angivillier was responsible for renewing the shapes of his pieces by using an antique repertoire. The finest example of this emulation is undoubtedly the commission for Marie-Antoinette at the Rambouillet dairy.
Condition report: unmarked, worn and cracked at the handle.
