They are shown indoors with a window in the background.
Based on an original by Philippe de Champaigne.
Signed Bouchet lower left.
Dated 1693.
Family coat of arms at the bottom right of the painting. The first armorial is silver with a red band charged with three gold stars. And the second armorial has a red background with a white ermine cross.
These two coats of arms are surmounted by a ducal crown. The first coat of arms could belong to the Urre family while the second, close to the coat of arms of Béréchel, could come from the house of Dinan.
French school from the end of the 17th century.

Re-canvased. 20th century frame in black and gold wood.
