Travel candlestick from the Louis XIII period (1601-1643 †) in bronze, first half of the 17th century.
The foot or base is hexagonal in shape with a hollow umbilicus surmounted by a shaft with a ringed baluster, surmounted by a pyriform binet with hems with two cylindrical windows.
Note a visible hole at the base on the plinth. An old tin repair under the foot as well as a trace of tin on the edge of the top hem of the binet. (visible in the photos). No play between the foot and the barrel.
