Antique French Napoleon III Lamp, 19th Century Period.

Sculpture in flowered alabaster later transformed into a lamp depicting a powerful panther.

The posture is engaging with the hind legs bent, tail stretched downwards and the body in an oblique position, while it climbs a cave, later transformed into a place for a lamp.

The jaws are wide open and show the animal's teeth.
