"Small Chiffonnière Table In Rosewood And Walnut, Louis XV Style – 2nd Half 19th Century"
Small chiffonier table with a front that moves in both directions. This piece of furniture opens with two drawers, well joined, with hidden crosspiece with rosewood strip, lemon tree fillet and central part in walnut with marquetry decorated with musical instruments. They both have bronze handles with an acanthus leaf motif. The upper drawer has a functional original two-turn lock with key and bronze entry. The first turn condemns the upper drawer and the second condemns the lower drawer. Inside this upper drawer offers a sliding shelf in dark rosewood with red leather with vignette and gold pattern. The sides also moved in both directions and inlaid are of the same composition. The whole rests on four curved legs ending in original bronze shoes. This piece of furniture is topped with Aleppo breccia marble shaped at the corners.
