A beautiful, sober and elegant dressing table from the 18th century and Louis XVI style, of beautiful proportion and not too bulky (width 80cm) in a magnificent tight-fibre red mahogany from Cuba, varnished with a pad. Fluted spindle feet, two side hatches with flap and lid, one entirely sheathed and the other simply the hatch, low drawer in the center also carefully sheathed with a beautiful spirit fabric in perfect condition, raw green with branches. On the right at the bottom one by a bronze shoe on wheels compartmentalized writing desk drawer with the cells for the inkwell and the pen tray. It is a piece in good condition with its mirror in the center and its work table with an ogee at the front to catch the accessories by sliding them towards you, the mirror tilting in the angle and adjustable by its slides. It is he who closes everything and blocks the two sides, the locks operate the one with a bar, the principle and saddle of the large drawer below with its two bronze-headed keys in a laurel wreath, two beautiful bronze buttons on each side one for the false drawer (trapdoor) and the other for the writing drawer, two ornamented bronze lock openings and the feet ending in bronze shoes with casters of the same material, for greater convenience.
