"Poppies And Hollyhocks, Pair Of Large Limoges Porcelain Dishes, Delinières Late 19th Century"
Pair of very large dishes (40 cm) in Limoges porcelain Manufacture Delinières. They are entirely hand painted with a very delicate decoration of poppies and hollyhocks in an impressionnist blur characteristic of this period. The colors are soft and very slightly faded but perfectly reflect the complexion of the flowers. One dish is signed Jean, it is most certainly Jean Cachet, known as Jean (1854-1924), student of Félix Bracquemond, worked for Haviland at the Auteuil workshop. The Delinière factory was created in the 1880s, presenting some work at the 1889 exhibition and joining forces in 1890 with Léonard Bernardaud and transformed into Bernardaud et Cie in 1900. Very good condition of our dishes. At the back, holes for attaching hooks. Period late 19th century around 1880-1890. Delivery by carrier 80 euros in France, 150 euros in the EU and 300 euros rest of the world.
