Richard Mortensen is a Danish painter. Influenced by Kandinsky. An expressionism, during the war, comparable to that of Asger Jorn, who announced Cobra, an adventure in opposition to the geometric abstraction adopted by Mortensen in 1946. An art of great clarity, thoughtful construction supported by a lively palette and delicate. A painting of movement through the dynamic relationships created between the simple forms implemented
