Paul Milet (1870-1950) Henri Milet ( 1907-1987)
After training in the laboratory of the Manufacture de Sèvres, he became a good chemist and worked in the factory founded by his father, Félix Optat Milet, in 1866 at 8 rue Troyon, in Sèvres, a stone's throw from the Manufacture. From the age of twenty, he gradually succeeded him. Like him, he will continue to benefit from the collaboration of artists from the MNCS (Manufacture Nationale de Céramique de Sèvres). Paul Milet worked with his father Optat until 1911, the date of his death, then with his son Henri, a ceramic engineer, who was appointed director of the factory in 1931, which did not prevent father and son to work closely together. Henri retired in 1971, the date the Milet factory closed. She lived a total of 105 years
