"Reliquary Of Christ On The Cross - 18th Century"
Around 1750, our ivory Christ overlooks an altar made of paper and is part of a vast altarpiece with six columns. Each of these columns is adorned with a small enhanced engraving representing respectively Saint Peter, Saint Alexis, Saint Roch, Saint Mary, Saint Anthony and Saint Hubert. At the base are very visible relics of Saint Victor and Saint Stephen. All in good condition. Note the presence of dust near the relics.
On the back calligraphed mention “reliquaries for Brothers Jean and Joseph Gully at la Roche”
