White opaline box Charles X period Rectangular box in blown and cut opal crystal. White opaline called “soapy opaline” has a “bamboo tip” cut. Its gilded and chiseled bronze frame is decorated with a frieze of flowers. The box is decorated on the sides with medallions or handles in the shape of lions' heads.
