Magnificent Louis XV style middle desk made by a Parisian workshop at the beginning of the 20th century. This flat desk in solid mahogany and shaded mahogany veneer has a moving belt with three deep drawers on the front, with a mahogany veneer of four leaves arranged in butterfly wings, benefiting from a deep color. Each of these drawers has an original lock in working order and a chiseled bronze entrance to the best effect. The “rear” side is also decorated with bronze ornamentation and mahogany veneers decorating three dummy drawers. The oak structure of this desk is a guarantee of quality and solidity. This desk rests on four curved legs decorated at the top with a large bronze drop formed of large acanthus leaves and flowers. This extends to join a foot decorated with a bronze forming a volute.
