"Peddler In Painted Tole"
very rare character in painted sheet metal depicting a peddler, he carries on his stomach a clock which includes a period watch movement which is complete, missing its hands, its painting is original, it is certainly a sign of interior watchmaker's window, the whole is from the early 19th century and has never been restored! superb object.
