"Great Painting. Harijs Ebersteins"
Harijs Ebersteins (1906-1964) was born in Riga, Latvia. He is well known for his portraits of elegant women, but in this large work there are, of course, three portraits, but of country women harvesting. I had never seen a scene like this in his work. These women are expressive, the composition is perfect; we recognize the touch of a great Artist. The canvas is very slightly relaxed at the bottom left. Well framed.
