Jean Joseph Lecurieux, painter, engraver and lithographer born in Dijon in 1801. Student of Devosges and Guillon-Lethière at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He exhibited at the Salon from 1827. Medalist in 1844 and 1846, he obtained several state commissions from 1833 to 1840. Works at the Ministry of the Interior, Museum of Dijon, Chaumont, Saint-Omer and Château de Versailles.
