Princess of the House of Savoy born on September 8, 1749, she married Louis-Alexandre de Bourbon, Prince of Lamballe and son of the Duke of Penthièvre. Friend of the dauphine and then queen Marie-Antoinette, she remained devoted to her throughout her life and paid for it with her own during the massacres of September 1792.
