Exceptional miniature painted on an oval disc representing Queen Louise of Prussia in a red dress and white veils, wearing a pearl necklace and a white headdress held by a diamond-shaped jewel. signed Gérard (or Pérard). in a very pretty 19th century bone frame. The quality of the painting of the drapes and transparencies is very fine.
