"Mountain Road Landscape, Flanders Early 17th Century"
Mountain landscape, oil on copper, dimensions 22 cm x 29 cm, with the frame 38 cm x 44 cm, bears the mark of the glider Peeter Stass with the date 1604, entourage of Paul Bril. Paul Bril born in 1553 in the Spanish Netherlands and died in Rome in 1626, is a Flemish painter and engraver of the Antwerp School. He was active in Rome from 1582 until his death, as a landscape gardener after 1600.
