The surround of the dial, in gilded bronze, is decorated with cherubs with garland of flowers. The lyre balance also in gilded bronze is decorated flowers and a cherub lying at the bottom and at the top 2 others in symmetry holding a flower girl (?). The clock has a movement marked L. JAPY fils N° 122 (Louis JAPY 1804-1886), the strike is every hour and half an hour. The whole thing, complete with its key, works but has not been serviced.
