"Rich Reliquary Of The Virgin And Child – 18th Century"

Framed by two velvet and paper altar vases, sits a representation of the Virgin and Child, in polychrome relic paste. That is to say, cooked and then molded paper that has been painted and varnished and to which… relic powder has previously been added.
The Saints who accompany this representation include Saint Restitue, Saint Simplice, Saint Maxime, probably Saint Domnine, Saint Frumin, Saint Amat, as well as a fragment of Sacred bread. Colored glasswork and montage of paperwork enrich this devotional work and its 14 relics.
