Rare Polychrome Sandstone From Muller, Signed, Pierrot And Harlequin Art Deco

Exceptional and rare polychrome sandstone sculpture between art nouveau and art deco around 1920 representing Pierrot and Arlequin.

a polychrome sandstone by Muller bearing the signature of Robert Bur in hollow with probably a stamp by Muller,
the sculpture is entitled "les confidences" on the base.

This sculpture is large and has its polychromy in shades of blue glaze, white and pink.

Arlequin is masked and wearing a bicorneol, wears his famous diamond-shaped garment and holds a bouquet of flowers.
Pierrot is gentle and even-tempered, even he carries a guitar on his back.

excellent general condition, the end of the Arlequin sword was glued back on a long time ago.
