Louis XV period cane convertible armchair. Very beautiful decor with bold and generous moldings, finely carved flowers. It is filled with a tan leather cushion. Everything is elegant and exquisite in these armchairs: sculpture, curves, counter-curves, accuracy of proportions. Unsurprisingly, it bears the stamp of a great Parisian seat carpenter: François Reuze. François Reuze, Parisian seat carpenter, passed Master on July 20, 1743. Supplier of Crown Furniture, he received numerous royal orders and was the main manufacturer of furniture for Queen Marie-Antoinette and the Swedish court until the revolution .
