Very pretty engraving representing a young girl's head profiled on the left. Our print is made by Louis-Marin Bonnet (1736-1793) after a work by François Boucher (1703-1770). It is made in the cayon style, black and red printing. Inscription on the left: L. Boucher inv inscription on the right: L. Bonnet sculp. 1769 inscription at the bottom: In Paris, at Bonnet, rue Gallande place Maubert, the door between a chandelier and a layetier. inscription at the top right: No. 26 Louis Marin Bonnet: Born in Paris in 1736 and died in Saint Mandé on October 12, 1793, was a famous engraver, painter and publisher of prints, linked to the Rococo style. He was a student of Jean Charles François and Demarteau. He frequented François Boucher, Lagrenée and Le Prince, whose works he reproduced.
