French school of the 18th century, portrait of an aristocratic lady circa 1760 - 1770. Oil on canvas in its Louis XVI style frame in gilded wood with gold leaf. End of the Louis XV period or very beginning of the Louis XVI period. The portrait work of a woman painter bears a beautiful signature in full Melle Porcher, it is dated 1768. Our aristocrat wears a wig under a lace headdress with a pink ribbon bow, a beautiful white pleated dress finely embroidered with flowers red and decorated with lace. The woman is elegant and beautiful with beautiful blue eyes and a delicately scissored falsetto. Beautiful portrait with elegant features, very well executed and large format.
