"Neolithic Tripod Jar Peiligang Culture XInzheng Henan"
The Peiligang culture dates from the neolithization period (7000 - 5000 BC). 120 sites discovered in the Yellow River basin in China are linked to this culture. It has strong similarities with the culture of Cishan, so much so that they are sometimes considered as a single cultural group: Cishan-Peiligang. They were preceded by a long, dispersed and uncontinuous pre-Neolithic period of semi-sedentary hunters and gatherers of wild cereals. Peiligang culture in addition to hunting and gathering began to practice cultivation. Former Toulouse collection
