18th 19th century France Large Louis XVI style chiseled velvet furnishing border. Caramel taffeta background, plum curled velvet design with a wide ribbon of beaded medallions tied with ribbons and birds. Complete with original border more than eight meters long. Excellent condition of color and conservation. Dimensions: 55 cm X 800 cm Ideal for a Louis XVI style decoration project. Very strong velvet and very tight and quite thick chiselled weave.
