Christ On The Cross In Wood Of Saint Lucy, also known as Bois De Bagard Circa 1700 - End of the 17th century Superb patina with reddish reflections. Made from so-called Saint Lucia wood, it has a tight grain and a reddish color; it is a variety of cherry coming from the forest of Sampigny-en-Barrois, now destroyed and which depended on a convent which gave its name to the wood.
