Oil on canvas representing a view of Lamastre in Ardèche, by Henri Roche, lamastrois painter born in 1900 and died in 1969.
Signed lower left.
Good condition.
Dimensions outside frame : 65 x 54 cm.
Dimensions with frame : 76.5 x 65.5 cm.
Orphaned at the age of 14, Henri Roche went to Paris after his military service. He stayed there for 7 years during which he attended various painting academies.
Received by the Society of French Artists and laureate of Fine Arts, he returned to Lamastre in 1935.
He exhibits his works in Valence, Annonay, Lyon.
